The Hope Project
February 26, 2011
7am-3pm
Oak Mountain Presbyterian Church, Birmingham AL
What is The Hope Project? It is a fundraising event to raise money for adoptions and missions. It was birthed from the vision of 2 friends of mine. One who's heart is for the mission field, and one who feels every child deserves a family. I love both their hearts and that is why I want to share this with you. It has become much bigger than anything they had imagined. It is going to be so fun and hopefully bless these families so they can fulfill their dreams. If this is successful, they hope for it to become an annual event here in Birmingham to allow for some money for families to adopt a child.
The Hope Project is happening because of a special little 2 year old princess who lost her life in a tragic accident last April, sweet Abigail. This was my friend, Brandy and her husband, Michael's little girl. A little girl who was taken to heaven and from her family much too soon. She lived a short life here, but has left a lasting impact on those she has left behind. The 2 who may feel this the most will be the 2 precious children that Brandy and Michael are in the process of adopting. 2 children in an orphanage across the world without a hope and without a future...until.
Now these children are going to have hope, and a future, in a loving family. What an exciting thing! I feel so blessed to know this family and to be able to see the love of God through them and what they are doing.
On to the details...this event is the 26th of Feb. but there are still a few days left if you are interested in doing any advertising for this event. They are having a booklet printed in color for advertising. We would love for you to partake in this if you so desire!
We are also in need of donations. They still need drinks, cups, plates, meat, etc... If you have something that you would like to donate, please contact Tammy or Brandy. They can answer any questions you may have.
If you don't have any way to donate items, or advertise, if you so feel led, they could still use some volunteers. And, if you just want to come, we would love for you to come and enjoy the day with the family.

HUGE yard sale
