If you are in the Birmingham area, you can find your 1 cent coupon on page A2 at the bottom. Several of the area stores are now requiring that you have your coupon with you. This coupon is only good for one day March 31, 2010 only. In different areas, their day is Thursday. Check with your local Publix if you are not sure.
If you have never gotten the Publix mystery item before and you are wondering what it is...well, if you make a purchase of $10.00 before before coupons, you can get this mystery item for only 1 cent.

Menu Plan Monday

Finally!  Menu Plan Monday!  Just a little late...but it is still Monday, right?

Ok, so only minor changes from last week, but we didn't have fish taco's Thursday as planned...we ate leftovers!

So here is what this week looks like:

Monday - Fish tacos - yummy these were a hit tonight!  I may post the recipe!

Tuesday - Veggies- fried okra, green beans, corn, carrots and cornbread

Wednesday - White Chicken Chili (easy for church night)

Thursday - Chicken stir fry

Friday - Herbed shrimp and pasta

Saturday - Easter Dinner?  Not sure yet.

Sunday - Easter Not sure yet

As a nurse, I have to work the holidays too, so with my weird schedule, I am not quite sure when we will have our Easter meal.

Where in the world is Jenny?

So, where have I been the last few days?  Oh my!  What a week!  We started back school this week after being on break all last week, which was an adjustment in itself.  Trying to get 4 kids back into a daily routine is not easy.  Then we have a renter that has moved out of our house so I have had to clean it and get it ready to show so we can sell it!  I have been over there about 3 times cleaning and still have much to do!   This was my work week as a nurse, so my nights were busy.  My best friend had surgery this week, so I made dinner for her family today and that is where we have been tonight.  A week jam packed! Got much accomplished...everything but blogging!  I will be working on getting on a better blogging routine!  I made Saturday snack last week, but decided not to post it as it was good to me and my husband, the kids didn't care much for it.  Sad.  Then today with much craziness, I had something planned, but could not get to it.  I am not sure what we are doing tomorrow yet, so I may try to post it then.   It is definately a crowd pleaser!  My kids love this one!
